An orphanage is a special home for children whose parents are no longer alive. It is also a home where children whose parents are unable to take care of are housed. Just like every other human being alive, orphans need love, care, good education, food and health care.

This will help them to grow, develop well, have a great future, and become responsible members of the society they live in.

It is important to realize that orphans cannot have hope of a future if taken care of by the government alone. Individuals of a society whether wealthy or not can help these children. Help can come in form of adoption, financial or material donation for their upkeep. People can organise fund raising campaigns can for them as well. There is no help too small.

It is and always will be a good choice for a society to carry along these orphans so that do not  become a menace to their society out of rejection and frustration.
