A mirage can be defined as an image that appears to be far away and real but does not exist. It is an illusion which creates a deceptive impression that something is there when it is not.
A typical and common example of a mirage is the appearance of a sheet of water on a hot road and in a desert. It is caused by the refraction of light from the sky by a very hot air.
In the same way, a mirage is an illusion, there are some people who live a life that is like an illusion, a life of fantasy, a life behind a mask. They make people believe they are what they are not. For instance, some people make others believe that they are rich or come from a wealthy family but in reality, it is not so.
Living a mirage life in whatever form, is not good for you or for the people around you who unfortunately believe you for who you tell them you are. At some point, you may not be able to keep up with that type of life and people will see you for who you truly are.
