Have you been in a romantic relationship in which your trust and confidence were betrayed, and the result, a breakup? Of course it’s hard to imagine the hurt you feel especially when you’ve known each other for a long time and you truly and deeply loved him or her.

Definitely at that point, all you feel towards that person is anger, resentment and possibly you will continue to feel that way.

Although you may not like to hear this but it’s true. The first step to getting to hurt and anger free zone is forgiving that person. It may seem difficult to do but it’s doable. Forgiving those who hurt you is not a sign of weakness on your part rather it’s a sign of maturity, courage and strength. It helps you free yourself from emotional pains, takes you to the path of inward peace, thereby enhance a good emotional health.

All in all, your act of forgiveness will as well prevent transfer of anger or bitterness to whoever may come your way in future.
