Are you the type that is exclusively and excessively concerned about yourself? Are nine out of ten sentences you make always filled with the word “I”? These are the characteristics of selfishness.
Selfish people have a thought pattern of "me, myself and I". They do not have any form of regards for others. They only care to satisfy their interests and needs even at the expense of others. In addition, selfishness makes people believe that they deserve everything and most times are not willing to share with anyone else.
For some people, selfishness is bad and to some others, it is perceived as good.
Notwithstanding some individual’s opinion of selfishness as good, whatever makes you gain anything at the expense of others may not be quite a virtue.
