Women are very important part of the family, society, and the world at large. In many parts of the world, women; whether educated, partly educated or uneducated, are the ones who manage the affairs of the home. A lot of times, her position as the woman in the home warrants her to spend more time with the children.
Before children start schooling, they start learning first from a woman; be it their mother or a caregiver. It, therefore, implies that a woman will only teach a child what she knows; whether correct or incorrect.
For this reason, one cannot downplay the importance of having more educated women in the society. It is said that when you educate a woman you educate a nation. Furthermore, it has been discovered that in the family, more knowledge is passed on to children from women than from men but this not to say that men are not important as well.
Generally speaking, the need to keep educating more women in the society cannot be overemphasized.
