A revolution is a change in the way that a country is governed or a change in a country’s system of politics. It is usually a forceful change.

Revolution is often seen in countries where the citizens are not pleased with the system of government, economy, politics or any other thing that has to do with their country. In this type situation, there may arise violence such as rioting, which may sometimes lead to war, if not controlled.


A revolution is not without its effects. Sometimes, it results in peaceful resolutions and agreements which will conform to the demands of the citizens of that nation. Other times, it may result in continued conflicts where the government is not yielding to demands.
