The word “cardio” is a medical term used by health professionals to refer to the heart. The heart is the muscular organ that pumps blood through the blood vessels in the body. The heart is like the engine room of your body and your life altogether.
For this reason, the heart requires a special care. Even though you cannot see your heart with your physical eyes, it is still possible to take good care of it.
Cardio exercise is any exercise that raises your heart rate. This type of exercise is not only good for maintaining heart health but also it is good for your lungs and the entire circulatory system. It delivers more oxygen to the cells in your body.
Some examples of cardio exercise include Jogging, Running, brisk walking, swimming, jumping of rope, high-intensity dancing, aerobics and using cardio fitness equipment.
Taking good care of your heart is taking good care of your life.
