A stampede occurs when a group of animals or people suddenly start running together and rushing in the same direction. This usually occurs as a result of fright or excitement. Human stampede as the name implies is a stampede that involves human beings.
People running out of a perceived threat and panic, trampling over each other, resulting in accidents, injuries, and even death.
Human stampedes are dangerous and can kill, however, it is possible to survive it. One of the major things to do is trying not to panic. When you panic you cannot think right. Furthermore, to survive a stampede, you must try hard to stay on your feet so that you will not be trampled upon. Do not scream. This is because you need to conserve your energy.
Finally, always have an idea of where an exit point is located once you arrive in a place. This will help you to know which direction to move to.
