Confidence is that belief, reliance, trust or self-assurance that you have. When you believe you can achieve something seemingly difficult, not minding the risks that may be involved, you have confidence in yourself.
To be self confident is very important. It rids you of self-doubt, fear or anxiety. It also generates happiness, strength and motivation to achieve greater heights in whatever you do. When you have a low self confidence, it means that you do not believe in yourself and not sure of your abilities.
Some of the ways you can build your self confidence are by having a positive perception of who you are, act positive, dress well, take steps to enhance your knowledge, always put up a smile, improve your communication skills and so on.
