National security is the safety of a country as managed through the use of economic, diplomacy and political power. For a nation to possess national security, she needs to be secured in food, economy, energy, environment etc.

A country’s national security can be threatened not only by other foreign nations but also threats generated within same nation. Such threats can be gang violence, narcotic cartels, robbery, kidnapping, malnutrition, diseases, deforestation, earthquakes and so on.

when consider some of these threats mentioned above, would you think your country is actually secure? Obviously, every country in the world today faces either one or more threats, be it from within or without. For this reason, you may not be wrong to think that there isn’t a secure country.
