Promotion is the act of moving someone to a higher or more important position or rank in an organization. It serves as a source of encouragement or support to the pursuit of an organization’s cause or venture in order to achieve its goals.
In some organizations, not only does promotion come as a movement to a higher rank but also it comes with an increased paycheck, a private chauffeur, and other benefits.
