A profession is a type of job, occupation or practice that requires mastery of a complex set of training or skill through formal education and or practical experience. There are many different types of professions that people practice. Some examples include acting, blogging, photography, Engineering, Accounting, Teaching, health care professions and so on.
Although professions differ, however, they share certain characteristics in common. Every profession requires knowledge and practical training. Also, every profession renders an essential service, requires ethics and have particular groups and associations formed in order to protect the interest of the profession.
There is no particular profession that is more important than the other. Every profession is very important because it serves humanity in one way or another.
