Eligibility means to have the right to do or have something. It means to be worthy of choice, be suitable or desirable for something or someone especially when certain conditions are appropriately satisfied.
Eligibility is a major factor that is considered while doing a lot of things in life. For instance, having the right qualifications for an advertised job position makes you eligible to apply. Also, child growth and maturity into a responsible adult makes him or her eligible for marriage. Furthermore, passing certain exams makes one eligible to practice in certain fields of learning.
Generally, eligibility plays a lot of role in decisions and choices that people make in life.
When you are not eligible to obtain something or to be with someone, it disqualifies you.
