Dismissal is the act of forcefully removing someone from their position. It is the termination of an employee’s job by an employer. Unofficially, it is referred to as a sack or fire. It occurs mostly against the will of the employee.
There are various reasons that might lead an employer to dismiss an employee in an organization. For example, an employee who is found to be incompetent in discharging their duties can be dismissed. Also, cases of insubordination to higher authorities can result in a sack of an employee. Other reasons include sexual harassment of co-workers, leaking of company’s trade secrets, harsh economic conditions which might make it difficult for an employer to keep paying an employee for their services, and so on.
In whatever way that a dismissal may come, it is not a pleasant experience. It is best that an employee avoids acts that might lead to dismissal.
