In life, different types of people exercise their authority in one way or another.

authority

Authority could be exercised as a Traditional authority which is associated with kings, queens, and other reigning monarchs. Those who exercise this type of authority do so with honor and respect to tradition and customs. The other type of authority is a Charismatic authority which is exercised by politicians and arises a result of an individual’s charisma. Also, there is the rational-legal authority which is exercised by elected officials in positions. For instance, the authority exercised by deans of schools.

In the schools, churches, society, government offices, and so on, authority is very important in maintaining order. It also gives a sense of responsibility and control to those who exercise it.
