A covenant is an agreement between two or more persons to do or not to do something. It can be a formal agreement whereby a paper is signed by the parties involved to make their agreement more authentic. In some cases, an oath is taken by parties involved to make a covenant more binding. For instance, marriage is sealed with an oath just the same way initiation into cultism is.

covenants

No matter the manner in which a covenant is sealed; be it a formally signed paper or an oath, a covenant is not to be toyed with. In some cases when a covenant is broken, it results in adverse effects both legally and otherwise, on the one that failed to keep it.

It is advised that before going into any covenant or agreement, be sure it is what you want. Do not allow anyone persuade or deceive you into what you cannot handle.
