Aggression is the feeling of anger which results in hostile, violent or any other form of behavior that threatens to harm someone. It is always characterized by a readiness to attack or confront an opponent. Individuals who are aggressive are sometimes so because they may not be able to properly deal with certain situations that bring them frustration or anxiety.
Others causes of aggression could be a mental disorder, head injury, depression, lack of concentration, irritability or stress.
Seeking a medical professional’s attention can reduce the risks of extreme aggression which if not treated can lead to violence, alcohol or drug abuse, and even suicide.
It is normal for individuals to be aggressive once in a while, however, regular or recurrent episodes of aggression is dangerous and should not be ignored.
