A tax is the sum of money or charge demanded by the government of a country upon workers’ income, property, or business profits and used for its support. It is usually a compulsory contribution of every genuine citizen of the country to a country.
Tax can also be viewed as anything that causes a heavy demand, pressure, burden or strain on an individual. For instances, keeping up with certain individuals in your life could be a source of heavy demand to you. When you try too hard or you are under pressure to keep up with certain persons in your life, they become like a tax to you.
Any association you work too hard keep might start tolerating you instead of celebrating you. It is wise to reevaluate the associations you keep and do something about those ones that tax you in one way or another.
