It is easy to have people identify with you when it seems you are successful and have at your beck and call, a lot of things that make life enjoyable.It does not mean that all those people are true friends. It does not mean they wish you well.
It will surprise you to know that the moment something goes the other way around for you, the people you thought were your friends would be the first to desert you. The ones who stick around most times are the ones you don't expect to. Probably, among all your friends you did not talk to them often.
You may or may not have experienced this but it is a reality of this world. You cannot always tell the people who are for you when the going is all good.
