War of words is a prolonged argument whereby two people, a group or organization; publicly and repeatedly criticize each other and disagree over something.
It can be very destructive because a lot of times, people who engage in it, end up in rivalry or enmity. Other times, this sort of war could result to a fist fight and destruction of ives and property. This is because the parties involved have made inflammatory statements that triggered bitterness, anger and hate.
Irrespective of the cause of disagreement, it is always better to sit down and talk things over, so as to reach a compromise. Every responsible person or organization should try as much as possible to avoid getting involved in war of words because damage caused by this, is sometimes irreparable.
