Shyness is the tendency to feel uncomfortable, awkward, lack of confidence, tensed or worried especially when around other people. Shy people want to interact with other people but they often do not know how to connect.
For this reason, they stay away from social events. Sometimes shy people are not comfortable with making new friends even though they may want new friends.
If nothing is done to solve the problem of shyness, it could develop to fear or phobia. At this stage, it could be difficult to achieve any goal.
Even though shyness can lead to fear, It is also possible to overcome it. It can be done by build one’s self-confidence and act confidently, capitalize on your strengths, and also stay around people who boost your confidence.
