Shame is a feeling of regret, guilt, humiliation, embarrassment, distress or sadness that one has when they know that they have done something wrong or foolish. It is a painful and unfavorable emotional state.

There are times in life when you do things or have done things that are you are not proud of. It makes you feel ashamed of yourself. It may have been so bad that even some family members or other relatives rarely communicate with you.

Although this type of situation hurts but the truth is that you cannot change what has been done. Dwelling in sadness and shame for too long will not help you rather you can mend your ways to make sure that whatever happened in the past will not repeat itself.
