A Flowchart is a graphic representation of a logic sequence, manufacturing process or workflow. In humans, it could be related to a sequence of movements or actions involved in one’s activity. Flowcharts are used in engineering, computer programming, and other industries.
It uses different shapes as symbols to represent a processes or actions. Shapes such as rectangles, ovals, diamonds, parallelograms, arrows, and so on, are the symbols that are used in creating a flowchart.
A flowchart is very useful and important. In industries, it is used to show the order in which a process is performed. It is represented in such a way that all who follows that process must arrive at the same endpoint. It also helps to eliminate too much jargon or vocabulary which might make it difficult for people to understand a process.
All in all, a flowchart is an easy and effective way of communicating a process to anyone.
