Whoever is in charge of you and the organization you work in is your boss. As far your organization is concerned, you answer to your boss at all times.
Sometimes, people feel reluctant to answer to a certain boss in their place of work. This is probably because of the feeling that he or she is not old enough be their boss yet. It doesn't matter the age of who is carrying a gun, what matters is the power that the gun carries. It doesn’t matter your boss’s age; whether older or younger, male or female. You have to understand that the hierarchy of power has placed him or her over you.
Therefore there is need for you to show respect and loyalty to your boss irrespective of all this factors put together. After all, you might be elevated to a higher position tomorrow and you will obviously expect whoever is your subordinate to be loyal to you as well.
