It’s Christmas. A time of joy and rejoicing. It’s a time family gather together from the nook and crannies of this earth to be with their loved ones, to merry and celebrate. It is also a time of shopping, writing of unending shopping lists, and exchange of gifts.
However, for the Christians, Christmas signifies more than the aforementioned. It is a time to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, the son of the living God; who was sent into the world for the salvation of mankind.
As you celebrate, always remember that Jesus Christ is the reason for the season. Again, be mindful not to replace Christ with an “X” as in Xmas. Embrace him and his ways in all that you do, and the joy that is found in him will always be with you.
