A water bottle; as the name implies, is a small container that is used for holding drinking water. Its small size allows for it to be carried from place to place. It can be made from different materials such as glass, plastic, and metal.
A water bottle is safe for use depending on the materials used to manufacture it. For instance, a plastic water bottle may not be safe for use because of the presence of some harmful chemicals which can filter into the drinking water to cause several ailments such as low sperm count, cancer, infertility, asthma, heart disease and liver malfunction.
Although plastic water bottles can pose a health risk, water bottles made from other materials such as aluminum, glass, and stainless steel are safe for use. For this reason, individuals are advised to be sure of what material a water bottle is made of prior to purchase.
