The first day of January marks the beginning of a new year in most parts of the world. It is the first day of a new calendar year. New year day is always given as national holiday for workers in most countries of the world. It is a time of joyous celebrations and merrymaking.
For a lot of people, the new year comes with new hopes, dreams, aspirations, goals, resolutions, changes of all sorts. For students, the new year comes with academic advancement while for some workers it comes with career advancement and promotion.
