Immunity is the ability of an organism to resist an infection, toxins or diseases. In humans, immunity system is the body’s major against infections and diseases.

A strong immune system in the human body is very important in the maintenance of healthy living. The white blood cells also knowns as the leucocytes do a specific job of warding off or destroying disease-causing organisms which may be present in one’s body.


The human immune system can be boosted in several ways. For instance, when a child is born, certain drugs may be administered either orally or by injections in order to boost their immunity against certain diseases. Also, adults can help increase their immunity by their lifestyle. For instance, engaging the body in regular exercise, eating diets that are more of fruits and vegetables and less in sugar and saturated fats. In addition, staying away from unhealthy habits such as alcoholism, smoking, and so on. 


You are less prone to diseases when you have a better immunity.
