There are times you are filled with hopes and expectations for certain things either in your academics, career, marriage or other areas of your life. You may have waited for a very long time. Consequently, when these expectations are not met, feelings of disappointment can arise.

When situations that give rise to disappointment occur, there is need to accept what happened and learn from your experience. To help you heal faster, you can talk to a friend or family about it. Running away from the fact that your expectations did not come through; thus leaving in denial, will do you more harm than good.


Things may not always turn out the way you want them to but remember some disappointments may be blessings in disguise.
